As I was seeking the Lord in prayer this week, the Spirit of God spoke to my spirit, ‘Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning.’ Psalm 30:5
Many of God’s children have come through a season of painful trials; betrayals, shifts, and disappointments in 2023. There was a great deal of transition going on, an uprooting, in preparation for a replanting in new fields and kingdom endeavors.
Transitioning always causes a shaking, and the greater the move of God, the higher the replacing that is on the horizon, the greater the shaking. God tempts no one, but he does sometimes use what the enemy has brought against us to tempt us to turn back, give up, or dig our heals in to try to make things work in our own strength to test us. God knows exactly how much pressure is needed to bring the blemishes and impurities to the surface. It can get ugly when the refiners fire heats up!
If you have asked God for a lot, the sanctification process often lasts longer and is more intense, before God opens those long awaited promises coming to pass.
Psalm 30 is a song of dedication. In the scriptures the number 30 often is used to symbolize the setting apart of a person or thing for a particular calling or purpose. For those that have dedicated their lives to be used by God in the earth, this one is for you!
God is releasing new mantles in January and February. Mantles of prophetic authority. Each person has a gift and call from God for particular tasks and ministries in the earth. For some, this past season was a Jonah season. People may have been resisting the call of God on their lives due to unresolved pride and bitterness and the heat brought to the surface how these impurities were putting a wall between you and deeper intimacy with God. Motivations have been weighed.
God isn’t just interested in what we do, but is very much concerned with WHY we are doing it. We can’t hide the rotten fruit of selfishness behind our good works when it comes to God’s all seeing eyes. Repentance and a season of repairing the broken bridges will bring a swift repositioning under the mantle you have been given to serve the Lord. Humility is needed for each one of us to step into what God has called us to with no self-interest at the helm.
Others, have been crushed beneath the burden of delay and disappointments from circumstances that were out of their control. The lesson of relinquishing has been learned afresh, leading to deeper levels of intimacy and humility, power and authority. Still others have been entering unauthorized territories which has created an opening for demonic torment and control.
The good news is that Jesus is the way and the answer to every crooked path being straightened. The Holy Spirit that dwells within us, the Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of Wisdom, the Spirit of Understanding, the
Spirit of Counsel, the Spirit of Power, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord is rising up inside of his chosen ones. There is a tidal wave of the fear of the Lord crashing over God’s people bringing them into humble acceptance of God’s ways in their lives.
God has said, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy.”
Take heart people of God. You are an object of God’s mercy and compassion and he has chosen you from among the people and mantled with greatness for the purposes of God to go forth in the earth. Go low as what God has placed within you, what he has placed on your shoulders, is not too great for you! IN Christ you are complete, capable, strong, pure, and well able to take down the giants that are standing in the way of God’s destiny for your life unfolding in fruitful abundance. You will have total victory in the work God himself has given you to do.
IT IS YOUR SEASON TO ALIGN AND SHINE.
Keep your eyes out. I am working on a new Kingdom Living Academy course to explain the prophetic and Biblical significance of numbers. The course will also include a section that will help each person study out and discern how God uses numbers to speak, encourage, and guide prophetically.
