And After The Flood, New Life

In some areas of your life you have felt as if you are just drifting along, being carried by the current of circumstances that are beyond your control. In many ways your understanding of your life has been incredibly limited. At times you feel that I have just been allowing you to tread water indefinitely, with no real purpose or end in sight.

What you see as drifting, I see as positioning. I have told you before that your circumstances are not random, and indeed they are not. I am proud of you; you have finally stopped thrashing about as if you were drowning and remembered that I am with you in all things. But you are to grow further, past simply recognizing that I am here and still working behind the scenes, into a place where you recognize that each situation, relationship and trial has been specifically designed to show you something about yourself that you would not have otherwise realized.

Things are beginning to come into focus as you look back and remember how everything that I have walked you through, impurities in your character, and imbalances in your life, were brought into the light and dealt with.

Turn around and see all the dead weight that has been shed throughout the years!

You are not endlessly drifting!

You have been afloat on the ocean of my love. With each storm you have sought out those things within your spirit that weigh you down and holds you back and have cast them overboard.

Look behind you. Do you see the trail of useless things floating away on the currents of life as you sail into the sun, light and free? The darkest nights of the soul, the fiercest tempest, have made you brave and strong, recognizing that which no longer serves a purpose in your life and casting it aside.

Now, not only do you realize that I am with you, but that I am not asleep in the boat.

All power has been given to me in heaven and earth.

I am not only with you, I am for you. I have been preparing you for something greater than you can even now imagine.

Can you see now why I have commanded you to rejoice in your sufferings? The hope that you now have can not be taken from you!

Now prepare yourself. Brace yourself. Raise your level of expectation higher than you have dared to raise it before, because coming into your life this year is a flood of blessing; a harvest from the seeds of faithfulness that you have planted and cultivated these long years.

Look around you now, whatever lingering habits, relationships, or activities that are pointlessly taking up space and choking out life, toss them overboard. I declare today is the day of power to solidify your will against all that clogs the wells of life from springing up within you.

As in the days of Noah, when I caused a flood to rain out of heaven and water to spring forth from the earth to destroy what had been formerly created so that life could begin again through the righteous man, Noah, and his family, so is the floods that have been allowed into your life.

Only the relationships and provision that I have ordained for you will be carried into the new life I am creating, and as with Noah, I have supernaturally brought to you those things which you need for success and survival.

You have believed my promises and held tight to the dreams and visions that I have placed within your heart, sacrificing many of the comforts and securities that come from relying, not on Me, but on your own understanding.

Your faith will be richly rewarded.

Step out of the boat and onto dry land. Receive unimpeded a new life full of grace, provision, favor, creative power, divine connections and relationships, healing power and fullness of joy.

Enthusiasm And Dream Fulfillment

Enthusiasm is contagious and causes us to take on life with an attitude of wonder. When we focus on God and claim His promises found in the Bible, we can go through life with grateful hearts and enthusiastic attitudes.

No matter what situation we find ourself in we can live passionately.

We are all given endless oppurtunities to glorify God with our lives. Ask God to open your eyes to the ways He wants to use you each day.

If your waiting for the right circumstances, the right people, and the right breaks to start really serving God with your life, your likely to have a long wait.

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.” -Luke 16:10

Sometimes we are waiting on God to open doors for us, while He is waiting on us to take steps of obedience right where we are. He knows those steps we need to take that will lead us to the door that is waiting open for us to walk through.

It is the narrow path that leads us to the doors that are open and waiting for us.

Stop waiting for open doors and instead determine to walk in the light, as He is in the light, one step at a time.

Follow Jesus. He is The Door.

God wants to bring our dreams to pass! After all it is He that has placed those dreams in our heart.

Trust in The Lord and do good and He will bring you into your promised land. He will let nothing be wasted in our lives as we bring all that we are and all that we are not and lay ourselves continually at His feet.

If you do not find your delight in The Lord in your present circumstances, its not likely you will delight in The Lord when your circumstances change.

Delight in The Lord now and find that the tight places and lingering trials that test your perseverance to the breaking point time and time again, become open pastures; the tiny spaces where before you had no strength left to stand, becomes spacious places as you rise above on wings of faith, hope and love to soar.

Run With Patience

Sometimes we need a refresher course on the importance of God’s grace in keeping us from living a lower, common sense life.

It is God’s grace that lifts us up out of what we can comprehend with our own limited mindsets and understanding into the unseen realm, where by faith, we can walk confidently through the things we don’t understand.

It’s important that we learn to ‘run with patience’ – doing our daily duties, keeping our commitments and serving God, even when we are full of sorrow and uncertainty.

Anyone can sit and wait for the emotional and spiritual storm to pass, but when we run and exert ourselves, in spite of our pain, we are strengthened in The Lord and gain endurance.

God’s grace empowers us to live victorious lives in the midst of great uncertainties and seeming injustices.

Grace enables us to walk in the certainty that God is a good and just God, even when our prayers seem to be going unanswered.

I believe this, even though I don’t always see the evidence or feel victorious.

I don’t trust my eyes or my feelings. Bridging the distance between what is fact and what is truth in my life is only possible by grace, through faith.

I thank God for his grace. I thank him for the joy that He gives even in the midst of suffering. I thank Him for the courage that I have found through Him.

I do not fear pain like I once did, because I know him.

Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Whisper the name of Jesus and remember. Remember His promise, that we are not alone. We are not orphans. He has sent the Spirit to guide and comfort us.

Do not be afraid to walk through doorways of pain on your path to healing and wholeness.

We are not subject to random coincidences.

God has a plan for our lives and will redeem our problems and pain when we put our trust in Him.

A Life Upgrade

I am upgrading your life.

You have been ordering off the dollar menu long enough.

You have been trying to purchase for yourself, out of your little, the things that you need for a full and victorious life.

Instead, offer your little to Me and receive in exchange all that I Am.

Through My death and resurrection I have purchased fullness of life for all who come to Me.

I care about your health; mentally, physically and spiritually and long to infuse each area of Your life with My healing and strength.

I have the provision you need to accomplish all that I have called you to do with excellence.

Your unbelief and fear are blocking the flow of My life to and through you. I need you to believe in and trust in My words to you completely. You have already seen what your unbelief and fear have purchased in your life. Now watch and see what manifests when you place your confidence fully in Me and My word.

Begin by bringing the worthless currency of worry, unbelief and fear to Me and exchanging them for an impartation of My Spirit’s anointing that will bring you into a level of gift faith greater than you have ever experienced.

Much of what you have believed to be faith in your life has been a counterfeit. I have been stripping you of this false faith that you have clung to; faith in your abilities to accomplish anything of value apart from Me.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.’

The Maze

I see a large maze from a top view. Lots of paths with dead ends, lots of doors leading to nowhere. There is a person fumbling along through the maze. They realize there is a definite destination, and that the destination is good, and that the only way to get there is to go through the maze; taking wrong turns, making u turns, opening pointless doors.

After seeing the person moving through the maze, going down corridors, opening and going into different doors for some time, I notice that they now have a blind fold on. They are still having to feel their way through, but are beginning to realize they are blindfolded and completely blind to where they are going.

Realizing this helps them. They pause to assess the situation. They realize the blindfold is to train their ability to be led by spiritual, instead of physical, eyes.

I see a lot less pointless searching. Less frustration. Less frantic looking. Less anxiety. A door is opened, stepped into even, but instead of plowing ahead there is a pause. There is no need to go further because of a knowing, apart from sight, or even touch, that the door leads to nowhere.

Back in the hallway the person grows silent and contemplative, slowly beginning to trust their ability, until eventually they are at a complete stand still. They stand waiting; listening.

Measured, but confident steps, are taken down the corridor, hands still feeling the surrounding walls until they stop confused by the wall mounting up from the floor directly in front of them.

Standing in front of the wall a recognition that the path is straight through the wall arises. Hands pressing, groping for a possible lever that might open a hidden door finally fall to their side, defeated.

Having grown more confident in the silences, they listen. With a deep breath they step forward, straight into the wall, straight through the wall-it parts to make a way before them.

Things begin to make sense; the maze,the doors that lead to nowhere; the dead ends; the blindfold; they are all for training.

I still see the person in the maze from above, but I shift perspectives and see the blindfolded persons’s point of view:

They are being led by a Light. No walls, doors or corridors exist for them.

There is only darkness and Light.

They are learning to follow The Light.

Pay Attention To Your Instincts

To fight the good fight of faith you must be able to recognize the enemy. You have to know when things are normal and when they are wrong. Pay attention to your instincts!

We struggle against spiritual enemies in high places and in our own hearts and minds. Stand against the demonic powers that attack your mind, will and emotions. Guard your life and heart against people and situations that the enemy may be using to attack you.

Although it may not always be possible or advisable to leave every relationship that is being used to hurt you, it is always possible to cover yourself in the blood of Christ and be led to victory in every situation and relationship by walking in obedience and being led by the Spirit of God.

We do not have to live defeated!

Pick up your weapons and fight the good fight of faith.

The victory has already been won.

I Am The Great Physician

Do not ignore emotional pain when it grips your heart. Pain is a symptom of injury. I am the Great Physician. Do you believe that I desire to heal you? Do you believe I love those you love even more than you do and desire that they be healed and delivered too?

Just as you would make an appointment and rearrange your schedule to visit a physician when you have a physical injury or illness and the symptoms persist, so you must learn to schedule extra time with Me, the Great Physician, to receive the diagnosis, prescription and instructions I have for you that will lead to you or your loved ones healing.

If a doctor ordered nothing by mouth prior to a surgery would you plow ahead and eat a big meal? By no means! Neither should you ignore My leading to refrain from food when it comes. Often a time of fasting is needed to prepare the way for My healing touch. If you knew how many healings weren’t received simply because an intercessor ignored My call to lay aside food, you would never again consider it a small thing to serve your bellies over Me.

Just as you would go out of your way to take an ailing loved one to see a specialist when their bodies are failing them, in spiritual matters you must be willing to bring the wounds and burdens of others to Me.

In My Presence, listening to My voice, I will lead you into all truth. Ask Me to reveal the source of your pain and I will. When you begin to understand the root of the symptoms of your pain, you can then ask Me for what you want specifically. I desire an intimate friendship with you. Take time with Me and we will discuss My plans for healing and redemption.

Do not be afraid of pain. Pain is only temporary and I am able to do amazing things for you and through you as you begin to understand the benefits of paying attention to what your pain is trying to show you.

Some things I am able to heal instantly because of the great faith of the one that requests. Other ills require following My specific instructions, and the passage of time. Spend time with Me and your faith will grow.

I understand that some wounds are deep and festering with decay from years of neglect; years of running. Many addictions are formed by those seeking relief from their pain. In seeking shelter elsewhere and in detaching from ones heart through addiction, pain can be temporarily numbed. Addiction is just a modern word for idolatry. Until one is willing to recognize that something is terribly wrong and come to understand it is only in Me that things can be made right, their soul will remain fractured.

It is not My will for My children to live with a spirit of heaviness and grief always looming over their life. If darkness and suffering have become your constant companions I desire to set you free but you must ask Me in faith, believing that I am able to deliver you.

As I was on the earth, so am I now in you. Ask and you will receive. Listen to My voice and believe Me. By obeying My specific instructions you will experience the victory I secured for you on the cross in your own heart and in the hearts of those that I have given you.

I Believe In You Completely

How pleased I am when my children, in seasons where they can’t see My hand in their situations or feel My Presence in their hearts, continue to place their hope in Me and what they are convinced of about My character. I am not a man that I should lie. Do not attribute the disappointing traits of your earthly parents to Me. Spend time with Me letting Me show you the misconceptions you have about My nature. I believe in you completely.

I created you with a purpose. Do you think it is beyond My ability to use you for the purpose for which you were created? To do through you all that I have prepared in advance for you to do?

Spend time with Me letting Me show you the misconceptions you have about your own nature. You are a new creature. I have removed your heart of stone and replaced it with a heart of flesh. I have placed within you My own desires. Do not trust your flesh for a moment. Trust My Spirit that lives in you bringing life to your mortal body. Trust My ability in you to overcome the world, the flesh and the devil.

Your human weakness doesn’t intimidate Me. I am the Provision to deliver you from the power of sin.

I Am Enough

My Words are Life. When you feel as if the humdrum of everyday life threatens to eliminate your joy or sense of adventure, turn to Me and listen. When you feel something is lacking, look to Me. I am everything you need.

Do you not know how I long to infuse your life with sweet and intimate Romance? How the plans I have for you are uniquely designed to fulfill your longing to be a part of something greater than yourself? I fulfill the hearts desire to be swept up into a magnificent adventure. You have been rescued and delivered by Me, your Conquering Hero, set apart and made holy by My blood, trained and equipped to be sent forth as part of my Kingdom army.

My children that seek Me first find in Me all of the strength they need to apply the victory I secured for them through My sacrifice on the Cross. You are more than a conqueror!

Do not measure success as the world measures success. Follow Me. Learn of Me. Look to the Cross. I have plans that are perfectly designed so that nothing in your life has to be wasted. I have a strategy to turn all losses into gains.

Come to Me. Keep bringing your focus back to Me. Look to Me. Listen for My voice in all things. Oh how My heart longs for you to put your confidence in Me alone. My heart is blessed when you trust securely in my great love for you and My desire and ability to meet all of your needs.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. -Revelation 3:20

A Vision of Victory

I had a vision of a blindfolded expert swordsman fighting with a sword in his left hand; feigning a yawn with his right before casually folding it behind his back. A group of rough looking bandits fall one by one as they breathlessly, and with all the strength they can muster, attack from every direction.

Enemies slain, he pulls the handkerchief away from his eyes and proceeds to step over and around the bodies, dabbing the ever so small drops of swear from his brow.

No big deal. Never a doubt. All his enemies under his feet.
