A Word to the Wise

Ask the Lord for discernment in relationships. Not everyone is about their Fathers business to bring Him glory. You can love and serve all those that God sends to you, but be selective about who you trust yourself to in friendships and alignments. Not everyone is for you!

Honestly, many people aren’t for anyone but themselves and this doesn’t always reveal itself with blatant selfishness. What to look for in friendships? Those that are faithful to God, not for what He can do for them, but out of humble gratitude for what He has already done. Avoid yoking yourself with those that won’t serve God without the spotlight and praise of man. It’s great to encourage others but someone that is motivated by the praise of man is an unstable man that shouldn’t be trusted.
 
The road to life is narrow and few find it. Don’t be shocked and surprised when you encounter people that are only for you or with you if it is going to build their ministry, their image, or fulfill some other need they have. Faithful servants of the Lord are few and far between. When you get connected to a mature and humble servant of God, cherish them and commit to walk beside them in service or in discipleship as the Lord leads. Don’t be to them that one I am warning you to watch out for that is only in it for themselves. Sow where you are fed and give honor where honor is do.
 
Like attracts like. Don’t be surprised when some of your relationships and alignments are interrupted in this season. Many are being promoted into the next level of glory in God and He will prune the toxic or fruitless branches in the process. Let them go!!! Their release makes room for the fresh heavenly manna that God wants to release into your life. You would be astonished if you could see in the Spirit realm how many things are blocked from flowing into your life by the refusal to go through the pain of letting go.
 
Onward and upward Kingdom people.

God is wanting to do an amazing turn around in your relationships in this season. Feeling stuck? Like you keep coming up against some of the same issues? Like the people around you are holding you back in some way?

Guess what? God wants you to know that your breakthrough is NOT in their hands! God is wanting you to partner with Him against the forces of darkness and those things that are BLOCKING your forward momentum in relational growth. This is the day and hour to move into a spacious place of unity in an abundance of love, joy and peace.

The Word of the Lord today is, “Humble yourself and I will exalt you. Examine your life before Me in the secret place, and I will show you how to come up even higher in Me. It is in knowing Me more that you come to know yourself better. Spend time in My Word and bask in the light of My Presence. Share your heart with Me. I would much prefer you come to Me in humility, asking that I reveal any area where I want you to come up higher, than for you to suffer the consequences of any pockets of deception you are carrying in your heart about yourself and your life. In coming to Me in humility, you avoid Me having to touch your circumstance to get your attention or having to be humbled by someone else uncovering what is in darkness. I am happy to reveal what is needed to remove the blocks directly to you.

It is I who purifies and refines. It is I who reveals and elevates. It is I who heals and redeems. I am the One that can make the changes that you long for. Allow Me to form in you a character that is strong enough to carry the high call I have on your life. Allow Me to have full reign in your own heart.
Defer to My loving ways in all relational interactions. Me Word applies to you. My ways will work through you. My interest in people are to be manifested through you.

To those who have ears, hear Me speak. If you want to see Me formed more fully in others, allow Me to form Myself more fully in you. You are longing for others to see Me as I am because you rightly understand that if they see Me as I am they will be smitten by My beauty and majesty and never be the same.
You are My ambassador. You are the light that is to shine. When you come to Me, believing your light is being extinguished by the darkness in others, you arouse My jealousy. Light can not be overcome by darkness! It is only in putting yourself or others before Me that the light within you is dimmed. When I am on the throne of your heart, no darkness will overcome you.

Set aside your need to be understood by others and come before Me. I know you completely and completely love what I see. You are the apple of My eye. You are special. My personal love for you is uniquely yours. There is a faucet of Myself that I created you to reflect to the world. Come to Me. See Me as I am. See yourself as I see you. See those things in you that are not reflecting My glory and therefore not reflecting who I have created you to be and renounce them.
I love the way you are. I not only notice all the little things that you do that make you, distinctly you, I thought them up. I was there when you were in your mothers womb; I rejoiced with the angels when you were born into the world that I created for you to fill and subdue.

You are My idea and My creation. I have planned out all of the details of your life. I know the end from the beginning. There are things about you that you have yet to discover. When you walk closely with Me I will unveil you, first to yourself and then to others, to bless them with the gift that you are and to help them become more of who I created them to be.

Shift your focus and relinquish control. Focus on Me and cooperate with My work in your own life. You will come into greater alignment with My thoughts, and plans to use you to impact and change those relationships that are in your inner circle. Your influence will have a ripple effect, growing in ever widening circles, as your light shines brighter and brighter. You are called to be a light shining in a wicked and depraved generation to draw more and more people to the beauty of My glory revealed through your life.

Allow the work of the cross to be completed in your own life. The power of My resurrection life in and through can not be contained. The power of the cross always spreads in ever widening circles through those that have truly been transformed by it.

Set your sights higher!’

Divine Setups

Be on the lookout for divine setups. One of the ways the Lord is going to be bringing deeper revelation this month is by orchestrating opportunities that He knows will uncover hidden things in your soul (mind, will, and emotions).

Don’t despise the testing. Remember the testing of your faith produces perseverance. There are going to be situations that stir up emotions, fears, doubt and unbelief. Don’t panic!

Recognize and ponder your responses and follow them back to their root. Not everything is as it seems at first. Life is not just randomly happening to you. All of the days of your life are written in God’s book.

This will proceed that. Unhealthy patterns and responses are being exposed, doubts and fears are going to be challenged and revealed invalid, what was once thought to be needed will be found to be undesirable, control will be revealed for the illusion that it is, lack a lie, and the idea that God is holding out dispelled in preparation for the divine exchanges this month that will be a part of the life Upgrade in 2017 that God desires to give.

The Great Romance

Don’t fall into the comparison trap. Comparison kills contentment. You are a unique creation of the God of the universe. There is a portion of God’s glory only you can reflect. There are good works God created in advance just for you to do. The enemy wants to keep you focused on what other people do, what they look like, what their gifts are, and what they have that you don’t have or what they don’t have that you do because he understands that when you get ahold of the truth of how much the Lord has blessed you with, realize your gifts, talents and potential, and begin to see yourself as fearfully and wonderfully made, you will begin to blossom into the person He had in mind when He created you.

In Christ you are beautiful, powerful, interesting, and worth being pursued with ardent passion. God loves you and longs for you. Thoughts of you are always before Him. He wants you. He longs for deep intimacy with you. He is planning adventures for the two of you to take together and sprinkling divine connections and appointments at strategic points along your journey to brighten and enrich the enjoyment of your life with Him. He sees you in your peril and loves to come to your rescue. He enjoys making plans for your life that are exclusively designed to fit who He has created you to be. There are desires He has placed in your heart as the starting point on the treasure map of your destiny; seek Him and the hidden jewels of their fulfillment along the path of your life.

Drop your defenses and lay aside what is dead and over; open yourself and make room for the overflow of all that God is and all that He has for you. Remove what is blocking the flow by taking your eyes off of what it is you believe you are lacking. Freely you have been given, freely give. As you shift your focus to the Lord, your desires will shift. When you mindfully seek the Lord with all of your heart you will enter into the Great Romance. Allow yourself to be discovered. Dig into the heart of God to see yourself as He does.

Turn from those empty and broken cisterns that leave your longing unfulfilled and your affections unreturned and turn to the Living Water and the Lover of your soul. He will never compare you to another. You are a prize that is sought after. God longs to be close to your heart and gave all He had to secure a way for you to be bound eternally to Him with nothing separating, nothing coming between or muddying the deep waters of spiritual intimacy He created you to share with Him.

He wants to be your hero and rescue over and over again from your shared enemy. He will never leave you or forsake you. There is no limit to His grace and the power His love has to save. He will not stop chasing you until He fills every chamber of your heart, infuses all of your desires to His, cleanses every memory of its power to defile, transforms your personality into who He has created you to be, and frees your soul from all of the debris of the world, the flesh and the devil. He will not stop and will not hold back. He is pressing in on every side to mold you; searching out every angle to find any opening through which you will allow Him to enter in. His goal is your total surrender and abandonment of yourself to His perfect Love.

Change The Lens

Why are you so downcast My precious child? Where is your faith in My love and hope for My future grace to come through for you? Please continue to trust Me in spite of the hurt inside. There is nothing that you can not accomplish if you will believe. Do not focus on the stench of the rotting flesh or mourn the death of your dreams as if I am powerless over your circumstances. I have not ceased from maneuvering, by My Spirit, all of the pieces to the puzzle of your life to fit them together into My perfect design. I know there is confusion as to how I will arrange things in your favor. Many of the pieces are shaped in such a way that they do not match the space in which you believe they are to go. Stop trying to shove a square into a circle and step back in order to gain a new perspective of the overall picture.

You ask Me, “What can I do?’ My answer is that you must surrender your burdens to Me; cast your cares onto My capable shoulders and fear not; know that I am with you and for you.

You have not yet been given some of the strategic pieces that will be needed to build onto what has already been fitted together. Calm down and stop searching for something that I have yet to give. For today, quiet yourself in My Presence and refuse to bow your knee to fear. Give Me the sacrifice of your praise and it will lift you out of the pit of self-pity, confusion and doubt. Let Me deliver you from the enemies plan to lead you into despair by releasing the need to figure out how I am creating the masterpiece that is your dreams fulfillment out of the individual parts of the whole.

Change the lens you are viewing your relationships and circumstances through to take in a wider view. You are focusing on two fragmented sections that are misaligned, not taking into consideration that to everything there is a season and a purpose for everything under the sun. When the clock strikes the eleventh hour I will release the missing piece, bringing into focus the importance of calculating what was formerly thought an undesirable extraneous variable.

I know the beginning from the end. Do not let your emotions run you over and distract you from the tasks I have given you to do this day. If the enemy is unable to tempt you to leave your post or stop your race he is perfectly content to cause you to procrastinate your progress. Fight your battles but fight them bravely from a posture of certain victory. Do not give the enemy the satisfaction of blowing your emotions up in your own face. By your calm posture of assurance he will cower, knowing his days of wreaking havoc in your life are numbered.

Decisions?

Do you want to know the direction I am asking you to take but are feeling confused? Confusion does not come from Me. I am not the author of confusion. You have taken hit after hit in recent months from the enemy camp and kept your hope anchored in Me. I have taken notice of your commitment to serve Me and move at the impulse of My love.

I know how you long to know My will and make the correct decisions. You have spent a great deal of time and prayer looking for the answers. I have given you some instructions; which steps to take that are directly in front of you. For now, I am asking you to let it rest. Let your mind rest from trying to figure out exactly when and how I intend to move you forward in the coming weeks. There is nothing more that needs to be decided this week on this matter. I want you to focus all of your energies on being thankful. Trust Me and do not be afraid that the answer will not come loud and clear at the precise moment I desire it too.

I love that you seek answers that I have concealed. I am veiling things for your own protection. By now you know that you can trust Me, then Way, when you can’t see far off in the distance. I have asked you to walk by faith. Confusion doesn’t come from Me. You have asked Me for direction. You have asked Me to make your way clear. I have heard your prayers and have sent forth My Word to illuminate the path beneath your feet. For today and in the days ahead My Word to you is ‘Rejoice!’ Rejoice in the peace that I have all of the details of your life figured out. Rejoice in the truth that I love you and have good plans to prosper you. Prosperity is your portion. There will be no dwindling of your resources as you have feared. Do not hold back your offering of thanks now. I have spoken:

Those who sow with tears
will reap with songs of joy.
   Those who go out weeping,
carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy,
carrying sheaves with them.

You are coming into a new season; of this you have felt certain for some time. Do what I have placed right before you on your path with the most excellent and diligent of care as one awaiting their promotion. Hum and sing and make music in your heart to Me, your Redeemer and the Promoter of your life. Share a smile just for Me knowing that we share secrets. What others might not fully realize, although they are starting to expect, is that you hold the keys to My Kingdom in your hands. Praise Me and show Me your appreciation by scattering your seed along the path where I am leading you.

I Make All Things New

My sweet, sweet, child, I know the weight that you are carrying. I long for you to cast your care on Me and let Me help you shoulder the load. It is too heavy for you to carry alone. Who in all the world can you depend on like you can depend on Me? I have said if someone forces you to go one mile, go with them two, and you have gladly done as I commanded.

You never imagined in all your hoping that what was thought to be one of the greatest gifts from My hand would demand that you climb the heights of a snow covered mountain. You realized in triumphant wonder one day you’d reached the top only to turn around and notice you can’t see the good that has been done; you look around and assume you’re stuck on the top of a mountain in a snow storm. My warmth radiating from the inside of you feels no match for the harsh and freezing conditions around you.

You look around for shelter. Come to Me; I alone can shelter you from the elements that you still believe are beyond your control. You search the outskirts of the terrain for anything you can gather to build something suitable for a fire. Yes! Look around. What do you see that you can surrender to the flames of My love? Ask Me to show you what useful thing you have to offer and as cold as it feels, gather the things I show you and build a fire. The warmth that you seek will not be found in the hearts of your companions at this time, turn away from all distractions and give yourself fully to the task at hand.

You are faced with an icy environment, having been led a long and steep path, following the way of love. You have been led, not to the fruitful valley that you had imagined you were to find, but to a place not fit for human habitation. There were glimpses on the way building your hope for the glorious oasis you were certain was just around the next bend, but now, for days on end, you see nothing but ice.

The world can be so cold, you think. Where is the love that you seek? Where is the life that you long for? Where is the hand that you can hold in unity of mind and spirit, devoid of the cruelty of betrayal? Turn away from these questions now. Turn towards Me, the answer to all questions, and the fulfillment of all dreams. Ask Me to show you what more I want you to give. I am going to show you something completely new; something you hadn’t thought of yet, or not for a long time. ‘Give more when giving has brought me to this eerie place, where without the hope in what I can imagine, everything looks grey and dull?’

Do not be afraid of losing your faith. Even when you are faithless, I am faithful.

Right now, ask Me. Turn away from asking questions of those that are themselves part of your problem, and ask of Me, your solution. I do not want your love to run cold because of your surroundings. Together we will build a fire out of the more I have provided for you to give.

Don’t seek to warm yourself in the embrace of those whose love knows not the warmth of My touch. In your current condition, don’t feel responsible for being their source of heat. I am going to build a fire right in front of your eyes out of those things that I ask you to sacrifice to Me that will melt not only the ice and snow around you as the storm passes by, but will bring warmth to all that step on the path you are walking with Me. Look at your life. Would you hold back burning what could produce a blazing fire on the heights of a snow covered mountain when your very life depended on it?

Ask Me. I will be candid and specific. Obey, and then sit back and watch the scene change like a fast forward time-lapse of the changing of the seasons. It will be no miracle. You’ve been allowing the conditions to take you backwards to a time in your life when I was not known by you like I now am. I am simply going to reverse the lag created by the fear of future outcomes looking like the past.
